Great Britain, 2084.

A new and powerful government has merged the countries regions under one new oppressive regime.

England, Scotland and Wales are no more and have become united under “The Great State of Britannia”, the divisions have been separated into districts, the cities into zones and the streets into grids.

The government is a bent and immoral party influenced by Metro Industries, a powerful commercial entity that monitors and controls the districts and its inhabitants under a new martial law.

2079, only 5 years earlier saw the ultimate AI break through, a range of super computer that could efficiently help the populous’s water, food and energy supplies.

Mankind should have marvelled at this technology but instead it wept. This digital wonder was transformed into a sophisticated AI weapon, a far more profitable action.

From this flawed decision emerged a cybernetic AI delta team designed by Metro Industries and loaned to the Great State’s governments to police their districts, introducing the ‘cyborg influence’ to the nation.

From this influence came splicers, black market bio engineers prolific in the blending of man and machine.

Underground splicer chop shops spread through the districts, they hacked and stole parts from the ever expanding AI delta teams, merging robotic limbs with human minds creating faster, stronger and more dangerous men and women called bio-humans.

It was only under the Metro Industries oppression that these bio-humans realised their full potential, fighting back against the cyborgs and governments that policed them. They battled, destroyed and scrapped the delta cyborgs for credits, food and splicing, ever expanding the bio-human race.

Now almost 78% of humans by 2084 are spliced in some way. Some to survive, others to fight back and so began the “District Wars”.

From these wars a resistance grew, uniting the people against Metro Industries, bringing hope to the state.

Word of the resistances war spread through the nation recruiting more fighters but in turn, so followed the cruelty of Metro Industries and an upgraded “Delta AI.5” was unleashed, a smarter and more efficient police cyborg.

The resistance grew desperate and a gathering begun, the best minds and top splicers were brought together, their mission, to create the ultimate weapon against Metro Industries and its puppet government and from District 24, “EM.PRO498” was born.

An advanced prototype version of resistance soldier, part machine - part human, a faster, stronger and smarter adversary.
“EM.PRO498” is the key to the resistances victory, she will end this war and lead the districts from oppression and to a new future.
